At ADC we continue to make tangible investments in initiatives that offset environmental impact and bolster economic performance. A small example of this recently involved the installation of the pre-fabricated roof top pool at our Freeman Residences project in North Fremantle.
In lieu of a heavy, labour intensive concrete and steel pool shell formed and poured in site, we have partnered with Shipping Container Pools Australia who repurposed an A-Grade single trip sea container to create what will be one of the most enviable swimming pools in Western Australia.
The steel shell created by the container has been lined internally like any other pool, and the user experience and aesthetic are identical, but this one was transported simply and efficiently from the factory it was fabricated in, directly to site, and then lifted in to position. A timber sun lounge deck will now be assembled around it, and then we just add water!
