ADC acquired 1309 Hay Street in West Perth in 2013 in just three years delivered the Sage Hotel and accompanying Julio’s Restaurant.
The ADC team oversaw all aspects of development including the conversion and adaptive re-use of the 1903 built heritage house to a restaurant and bar, with construction of a 13-level building comprising 101 four star hotel rooms with gymnasium and large lobby, seamlessly integrated with the site’s heritage fabric and the surrounding neighbourhood.
The asset was initially leased to Singapore-based international hotel operators Next Story Hotel Group under a ten-year term, as Sage Hotel. In November 2021, the hotel was re-branded Holiday Inn West Perth, under new management with IHG Hotels & Resorts for a 20-year initial term and two five-year extensions. It is the second hotel under the Holiday Inn brand in Perth and the 42nd within the Australasia and Pacific region. ADC manages the asset on behalf of its Unit Trust.
